About OVO
Meet Oluwaseun Victor Owokolade, a business leader, community builder and citizen committed to turning ideas into meaningful impact for people and places.
“Governance requires the precision of a project manager and the heart of a neighbour.”
Mr. Oluwaseun Victor Owokolade (OVO) is a visionary leader, seasoned executive, entrepreneur and community-minded Nigerian with a deep commitment to people, progress and nation-building. His story is one shaped by professional excellence, continuous learning and a genuine belief that individuals and communities can achieve more when given the right opportunities.
With over two decades of experience across business and community leadership, OVO has developed a broad understanding of how organisations work, how projects become realities and, importantly, how decisions affect people. At Altrex Construction Ltd, he has been involved in infrastructure development, with a focus on quality and long-term sustainability. Through Vickers Services Ltd, he has also demonstrated strategic and operational leadership, navigating growth through disciplined resource allocation and ethical business practices.
His commitment to excellence extends beyond the boardroom. OVO holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Rome Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Lagos State University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Business Education Examination Council. He is also pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration at Rome Business School.
Yet, for OVO, achievement is not measured only by titles, qualifications or professional milestones. His experience as a community leader has placed him close to the everyday realities of people and strengthened his conviction that leadership is ultimately about service, responsibility and impact.
Today, OVO continues to use his experience, voice and influence to support communities, champion opportunity, contribute to meaningful conversations and inspire more Nigerians to take an active role in building a better future.
Because for OVO, ‘leadership is not simply about being in a position to make a difference. It is about choosing to make one’.
“Nigeria’s challenges are not insurmountable.”
OVO’s mission is to use his experience, influence and resources to contribute meaningfully to a more just, inclusive and prosperous Nigeria. One where people have the opportunity to live with dignity, pursue their potential and participate in the country’s progress.
“I believe sustainable change begins with people”: empowering communities, creating opportunities for young people, encouraging innovation, supporting enterprise and promoting a culture of accountability and service. OVO’s work is therefore centred on turning ideas into practical action and using every available platform to amplify solutions that improve lives.
Whether through community initiatives, philanthropy, public conversations or partnerships, OVO seeks to inspire more Nigerians to see nation-building as a shared responsibility.
His mission is simple: to contribute to a Nigeria that works better for its people and to inspire others to play their part in building it.
